Reporting on landing pages between Eloqua and Google Analytics

I realise that there will always be discrepancies between Insight reporting and Google Analytics reporting, but one particular metric is causing me problems, and that's average page time. In Insight when I run a landing page report I see average page time metrics that are WAY higher than in Google Analytics. For example, Insight might show me an average page time of 8 or 9 minutes (which seems pretty high for a simple landing page) whereas GA will show the average time on page at around 20 seconds. How do I explain this difference? And which is more accurate?

On the other hand, I see a LOT more visits through an Insight LP report than through GA (which I would probably expect) - so in my mind the Insight visit metrics would be a more accurate figure, but then the page time seems to be way too high. So it's hard to work out which reporting tool I should really be using for Landing page reports.

Any thoughts?

Thanks!
