HomeAway is seeking a talented marketing professional to help manage the coordination and execution of email campaigns from idea generation through delivery. An ideal candidate will have experience with: project management, email marketing, and working with cross-functional teams. This position will work directly with marketing teams spanning HomeAway’s entire brand portfolio, including 20+ brands across 10 geographies around the world and is based in our Austin, Texas global headquarters.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Lead cross-functional email marketing team to plan and execute both ad-hoc communications and complex lifecycle campaigns.
- Identify and leverage global best practice standards to optimize current and future customer communications across the globe.
- Become subject-matter expert for customers’ (PM, FRBO, Traveler) email experience.
- Manage existing and ad-hoc projects, delegating tasks to team members to ensure internal service levels are met.
- Work closely with internal design team to prioritize creative initiatives to meet defined objectives.
- Measure and analyze campaign effectiveness including email and conversion metrics.
- Leverage email reporting tool to train marketing teams as well as identify trends and opportunities.
- Ensure all marketing initiatives are routed to the appropriate stakeholders for approvals and delivered on schedule.
