Integrating with Eloqua using their REST API set

We are about to development some backend PHP code that will utilize Eloqua's REST APIs.  We'll most likely be using the

EmailInlineDeployment API.  Before we start, does anyone have any advice, suggestions, things to watch out for before we start? ( ie Make sure the Engage Access flag is set for the API user, etc ).
