Custom object record search REST API.

Normally I am able to create an uri with search like: createdAt<1409580919 for contacts for example.

How am I able to do that with custom objects? For example, I have a field called: Is attending school with field ID 123. How do I do an export of all CDO records which have the field checked (true/1).
