I always assumed if a sales rep sent an email out of engage and that email bounced then it would update the contacts email address to hard bounce in Eloqua. I am wondering now if this is a wrong assumption. One of my sales rep sent me 5 hard bounces he received from a recent email he sent out. I spot checked all five and only one is updated as a hard bounce in Eloqua. Below is a screenshot of the bounce back code that the sale rep received and then a screenshot of their record in Eloqua. Why isn't their record updated to invalid email address?
