This morning on my way to work I was plotting one of my next Eloqua tricks which involves appending data to a contact field based on a blind form submit, so each time a download happens, the name of the download is added to this field and we can view what they've shown interest in. It is also written to a CDO, one (contact) to many (documents) but that's not easily displayed. So if I do this - and I already have tried it - I'd like to append by the submission of the form but LOCK the field in some way so that only the form can append, and I or others viewing a contact record can't change the values.
Is there a way to do this? I have already done my Topliners due diligence (can't find an answer) and checked contact field creation options... but maybe there is a way I'm not thinking of yet.
