During my opening remarks at the Washington DC Modern Marketing Tour, I made the above statement about my current role at Oracle. I joined Eloqua in 2007 and joined Oracle via acquisition in 2012. Since 2007, I’ve occupied various roles — all focused on the customer ranging from Customer Success, Account Management and Professional Services. I’ve met many great people along the way, many of whom I would consider to be among my close friends (and arguably like family).
In the past year, the Oracle Marketing Cloud family has grown. We expect it will continue to grow and evolve to help modern marketers evolve to drive the ideal customer experience for their customers. I was excited to learn that Eloqua would be part of this family and since then other world class companies have been added including Responsys, Compendium and BlueKai. As I shared with the attendees at our Modern Marketing Tour in DC, this has made my focus very clear as the head of Customer Programs at Oracle - “I have 1 job - that is to create customers for life”. We are in the process of developing programs that enable our customers to have a superior customer experience across the entire Oracle Marketing Cloud. Whether you are a new customer or an existing customer, I want you to feel like part of the family.
