Hello, working on optimizing our Tweet Sender capabilities and wanted to see if anyone has experience/feedback with what we have setup.
Here's what we have so far:
- Twitter ID Cleansing - using the String Manipulator cloud connector to standardize Twitter id values to be used (some people put http://twitter.com/id or @id and we just want 'id')
- Profanity filter - using a filter of words/terms we want to exclude. This way we don't tweet '@profanity, thanks for downloading our ebook'
- Randomize tweets - using the Math cloud connector to assign a random number and send people to a set of 5 different tweets for the same campaign. This way our tweets don't look too automated with same message every time.
- Capping Tweets to x number per day - using Event module to cap number of sends per day. (Kudos to Sophia Dao for setting this up!). It would be ideal if Eloqua would build this functionality into the cloud connector itself as we can do this with emails but cannot with Tweet sends. Would also like to add time of day but not sure we can do this.
Question to community:
Is anyone else leveraging the Tweet Sender heavily? If so, what other optimization pieces do you do or would you recommend we add? Adding these optimization pieces will allow us to be more confident with us automating our Tweet sends.
Thanks!
Michael
