This summer, Eloqua will be releasing a new interface for Eloqua Profiler, the tool our sales customers use to answer the question "what are my prospects interested in?"

For more information, see the Eloqua Profiler: Resource Center including a link to the updated Eloqua Profiler User Guide

Watch this 2 minute video to get an idea of what the new interface will have in it.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q. When will I get access to this new interface?

A. All customers will get this new interface in the summer release, which is rolling out over the next few weeks.  The first customers will be in June, and the last customers will be in July.  Stay tuned to the Eloqua Insiders group for announcements of specific dates

Q. Do I have to modify anything when it goes live?

A. No.  When the new interface is activated for you, it simply begins rendering in HTML rather than Flash. If you are rendering Profiler in your CRM, you can optionally change the size of the frame it renders in, as it now has a responsive design and can work in almost any dimension you like.  If you did not set a frame height when embedding Profiler in your CRM, you may want to set it now to something like 800 pixels.

Q. Can I use my preferred browser?

A. Yes.  Profiler has been tested in the same browsers supported by most major CRMs, including Chrome, Firefox, Safari and Internet Explorer 8+.

Q. Do I login the same way?

A. Yes, though the login screen will look different, you use the same user name and password as you had before.  You may need to click "remember me" on the login page if you don't want to enter your password each time you login.

Q. Can I still use the old Flash version?

A. No - the flash version will be decommissioned in Summer 13.

Q. What are the main differences between the Flash version and the HTML version aside from the visual changes?

A. HTML version remembers your preferences from profile to profile - so if you always load the table view rather than the graph view, and you usually select 6 months rather than 7 days, Profiler will default to that the next time it loads.  This version has many bug fixes that were in the Flash version, including missing preview links and broken thumbnails.  You now access the web alerts setup area by clicking the menu drop-down attached to your user name.
